P1W4 – Camera Raw Edits

Popsicle Garden (Camera Raw Edit)

This was a photo I took for fun, as a minor celebration of Spring. I took some popsicles and stuck them in the grass, almost like a flower garden. I took photos from many angles, but chose this one because of the low angle, the trees in the background, and the orange popsicle in the foreground serving as the focal point (in some of my other shots they all competed for attention).

The edits are only slight enhancements in color and sharpness, with a fine vignette.

Candy Nightclub (Camera Raw Edit)

I caught this photo while doing my color study. I had tried to catch the Peanut M&Ms for the yellow, but the lighting didn’t work in my favor. However, I still liked the photo – maybe because of my chocolate addiction. I hoped to find a chance to use it, and here it is.

I liked the darkness of the photo, and the vibrance of the colors. The packaging, designed to attract sales, reminded me of of showoffs – the kind of thing you find in a Night Club. My edits focused mostly on bringing out the dark shadows, while keeping the vibrance of the packaging.
